Beautiful sanctuary and relatable pastor. Great youth programs, especially youth choir. Many avenues of outreach to the city, and other places around the world. We really like the many opportunities to learn and serve here. Like any big church, you have to try out different places to be involved so you feel a part. We have found many genuine and loving people here!
Great sermon!
Initially I didn’t want to give a rating of 1 because everyone there was warm and inviting with an exceptional of one Caucasian gentleman. My daughter came to Brentwood today as they have come before with Nashville Children’s Touring Choir. After, the service everyone hugged her and spoke so highly of her and her Touring Choir members. We were standing right outside of the church and a older white hair Caucasian man walks up to my daughter while we are taking a picture. He stated this to my daughter. “ You need to learn how to smile more, You were up in that choir stand looking sour. You didn’t smile at all. Then, he stated you were the only Black girl on the front row, Right? After, he walked away my daughter began to cry. I thought this was inappropriate and very unGodly. Praying for people to be kinder in the world we live in.
We've been members for decades and have found this to be the best church in our atea. Davis Chappell is the most caring and loving minister I've ever known.
