I never do reviews but had to tell everyone about a recent experience with Moody's Tire...
Came in for a front end alignment 9/7 10am~ just as routine maintenance, no pull issues before hand. As soon as I paid and left immediately noticed the steering wheel cocked sideways while going in a strait line and a hard pull to the right. At home with the steering wheel strait could plainly see right wheel pointed outward with left wheel strait ahead. Alignment print out shows in the green for toe, and no issues brought to my attention by staff. Checked for suspension play, tire pressure, changed wheels, nothing found same problem. Didn't have time to go back to the shop.
Our family has been bringing our cars to Moodys for 20 years. We currently have 3 cars that we can count on Moody's to keep running beautifully. They have always been honest and get the work done very quickly. We don't go anywhere else!
Kenny Johnson is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. He's a cool guy. We had a nice conversation and he made me feel right at home. I just spent $250 on a truck tire. Our company construction truck had 6 nails in the front tire! After the new tire was installed I drove it for about a week and noticed it wasn't steering right. I finally checked the pressure today. 36 lbs in a brand new tire that is supposed to have 75 lbs! Come on man!!! I shouldn't have to check your work, but I will from now on.
I highly recommend Moody's for their excellent service and communication. The gentleman at the front, I believe his name was Kenny, was very helpful and explained to me what was going on with my car. Jim Moody (the owner) was even kind enough to drive me to my office while they worked on my car. I immediately looked up/called the dealership and other places to see how much they would charge for the service and found that Moody's beat every one of them. Car was fixed that day and is running great.
Great staff! told them I was on a road trip and they worked us into the schedule... he said he put us in front of everyone who said they weren’t on a schedule and ended up finishing in an hour, 3 days before Christmas!
