I'm never impressed with this place. I try it every few years to see what it's so popular, still can't figure it out. I used to live the blooming onion. I didn't even enjoyed it this time. With so many great steak places around, I don't think I will ever go back.
I have had great meal after great meal. The meat is always perfect and I have no complaints about the food. The manager is always checking on customers, which I like. Service is good. Mostly young staff who try very hard. Only reason I give this 4 stars is because of the staff. Not always professional but it is Outback.
My 10oz salmon was over cooked. It was horrible. They came out and replaced it with a 7 oz. I guess they thought I didn't notice. Server was good. Also grill should have been cleaned. This was a let down because almost every outback that I have visited always has great food and service. I guess that why the parking wasn't full.
Dined in tonight, and should have chosen Cheddars across the street. This place has really gone down hill. We pulled into the parking lot and was immediately berated by a female employee telling us we could not park there because it was "To Go Order" only. We proceeded to go in to the front entrance and was chased by another female employee who told us we had to move our car even though we told her we were placing a to go order at the bar. My wife and I were treated like trash. I have never been treated so poorly in my life! Don't eat here.
We were seated right away, but the restaurant was far from empty. The service was very prompt and friendly, and our food was delicious! I had the chicken tenders with fries and broccoli.
Though Outback does not rank high on the fancy dining scale, I have to admit this past year this location has really got my attention.
